Question #1:

There used to be a time when, you could say a rhyme & ...?

I just feel like I need to tell somebody how I feel; and all I've been doing is posting stupid questions on here; ...

Well I've been thinking a lot about previous bullying incidents, for instance; when I was putting out the washing, I remember something that this girl told me, and peoples reactions, it kind of made me feel like it was happening all over again...I felt the need to hide behind the washing because I'm putrid. I didn't want anybody to see me.

Also, I take things too seriously. I asked a question about hair color yesterday, and I got told that I was fat & ugly, whatever. I actually cried for 15 minutes and I cut myself with a knife...I locked myself in my room for 3 hours, re-thinking about it. I also deleted every photo of me...

I don't really think, that people know the psychological damage that they cause...It hurts so badly; even though it's happened years ago, (or even months), I still think about it like it was yesterday...

It's just like - I get really nervous and anxious when I have to go to the shops; I wait until everybody's in their car and stuff...I walk with my head down, never in the sun, I always walk behind, I only walk at night; and I've quit school for this year. At school, I'd sit all by Myself...I remember I was sitting alone, and there was an entire row of desks next to me...Nobody sat down :/

Eh...So, I've been a lone wolf, kind of. I'm not saying that I didn't have any friends whatsoever, I did, but only a couple; you know?...

I don't like meeting new people, I just hate 'people' all together. Even while I'm in the car, I stoop down so people can't see me...If there's a visitor at my house, I lock myself in my room.

I'm so shy; I always have been. I thought I'd grow out of it; I was actually secure for a bit, but then I got knocked down again...

It's all kind of messed up; I haven't spoken to anybody (besides my family) for about 9 months. It's eating away at me. If I dare tell my parents that I self harm, they wouldn't really care, they'd just be disgusted. (It's happened before). They also threatened to put me in a mental institute when I was about 11 for self harm.

Like...I think there's something psychologically wrong with me; I'm afraid of humans...I'm 14/female. *Sigh* Thanks for reading my question; thank you in advance!

what do you think about synthetic oil ?

I bought a 2005 scion Xb for my wife because my friend has one and he told me that these cars are good in gas ,it has 28 000 miles on it ,and I saw an add about synthetic oil that give longer live to your car ,I don't know if it is true or not but I was thinking to change to synthetic ,when I took it to the mechanic he told me that it is a bad idea that it is better to keep on with the regular oil , what do you think about it ?

Okay....So theres this guy, he constantly stares at me when im around him. Sometimes i catch him stealing glances at me and other times just full on staring at me.

My dad, brother, and sis were out shopping the other day and he passed them. He turned around and looked straight at my brother and around him.My brother said it looked like he was searching for me.

He kept mocking one of his team mates about a trick he couldn't do in football for a half an hour, when i said it was hard, he then agreed with me, he said ' i suppose its hard alright'.

I was staring at this guy behind him for a few seconds to see what he would do and he fully turned around to see what i was staring at. When i was getting into my friends car to go home after a 21st party, he got outside the house and was searching for someone because his head was going all over the place, and there was crowds of people around though so i don't know was he searching for me.

He asked was i choosing the black, or brown team, you could tell he wanted to choose the black. When i said brown, he said 'emmm me too'

Quick credit union question? Urgent?

My dad cosigned for a car loan, because I had good but insufficient credit. I've had the the car for 10 months with the the car. My dad now wants me to take him off the loan so only my name is in the loan. I was laid off due to not enough work, anyway i'm not unemoyed. So my question is now that I've applied to for the loan under my name will the credit union call my work and verify if I'm still employed?

Bonus question, will the credit union take the car away when they find out I'm curreny not employed?

symptoms of a torque converter going bad ?

my mechanic said that my TC was going bad. i brought my car to him because it was leaking transmission fluid out the axle. apparently to get the TC fixed or whatever, is a hefty repair cost. im just curious to know what the symptoms are of a TC going bad, and can you tell me in terms i would understand lol , thanks.

Head Halter, im not a fan of them in general but this is a step in the right direction. What do you think?

READ FIRST:
Yes i know that head collars are a "Band-Aid" solution (for that matter so are prongs and really even a collar or a leash is a Band-Aid if you dog isn’t trained to behave, a well behaved dog is one that listens even without a leash or collar on.) and do not fix the problem, if you read all this you will see my dog isn’t really a puller and im just curious what others think of this item.
--Please dont rant and rave, just give your opinion.

It attaches behind the head (where you attach the leash) so when the dog pulls or you pull the dog it doesn’t jerk his head up and to one side like the halti and gentle leader. Also it has a padded nose strap.

I was at Petco today and saw it there, its not on the website yet though.

I just use my dogs collar and a 6 foot leash for walks. BUT last winter he did pull me down (the streets where litterally ice ANY slight pull was like a car pushed you over) and I did get a prong after i fell 3 times! (my bum couldn’t take any more! lol) Though i hate the thing and havent used it since the ice went away. (he doesnt pull normally)

I don’t like prongs but also didn’t like how the head collars jerk the head up and the side... but this one doesn’t do that since it attaches in the back of the head.

What do you think? Do you think this would be safer/less hard on a dogs neck? Do you like this design better than the halti and or gentle leaders?

I hate prongs too (read all my post and I said as much twice :P )

My dog does NOT pull. It was only last winter, we didnt get much snow just ICE and walking just around the block without a dog was hard to not slip. With a dog ANY slight pull (looks in other direction, stops... ect) was like a car pushing you over. It was just super super slippery last winter, thats why i got one. --havent used it since :)

I dont think a prong "trains" any more than a halti or GL. Once it comes off its back to the same.

Is it true most cars nowadays are computerized and don't really require tuneups and just replace it?

I heard the new cars are computerized and if something is wrong with it they just replace it

Should I go further in testing, like more advanced tests to figure out what happend?

alright well, I'm not going to post the whole story again, so I'll just do a light skim of it, today is 1:25 pm on Friday, yesterday (Thursday) I went to the hospital because Wensday afternoon. I was watching a movie, it got boring so I shut it off, went down stairs to get something to drink, and I was just walking around up stairs then I think I hear a car pulling in the driveway, so I check to see if my step mom and dad were home from bringing my little sister home from preschool, then the next thing I know I'm waking up on the FLOOR wth???? I have NO memory on how I got there I do NOT know how much time went by. Then I get up and theres a severe pain in my head, so the first thing I think is great I slammed it on the floor. I get up and go into the bathroom to look in the mirror because my neck hurts and theres a scratch on it, The first thing that comes to mind is okay when I fell my neck must of scraped against something, At this point I'm freaking out because nothing like that has ever happened to me. besides like I'll be sitting down then I get up and I'll walk and I'll feel very light headed, dizzy, I can't see clearly, just a very bad, weird feeling, but yeah. As weird as this is the immediate thing I did after was post what happened on here so I did and I got about four answers on what it might be, or what I could do. and more then one was telling me to go to the emergency room, so as soon as my parents got home I told them and they said yeah we'll take you, but I let awhile pass before I let them take me just to think some stuff over and lay down, When I woke up from my nap my head was still hurting very bad. My parents immediatley asked me if I want them to take me and it was already late so I said 'umm no lets just go tomorrow' and so they listened. When I woke up in the afternoon ( I slept a lot) they were both at work so I called my mom and she said yeah, she'll come take me, so It's about 5:00 pm and she comes picks me up and takes me to the emergency room. were waiting and waiting for them to call me and they do, they do the basic crap weigh me, get my heigth take my blood pressure, then a urine samle ask me all those questions, like am I on medications, or am I allergic to anything. and were all done with that then they send me to my room and I'm laying on the bed then waiting a bit longer. A pe comes and gets my story on what happened and said shes going to run some tests to see if she cant determine what it could've been. she asked me a ton of questions. Then we did this one thing where she put jelly stickers on my wrists lower stomach middle stomach and upper chest and connected them with these wirres, idk what that test was, but it came out good nothing wrong, and awhile later I did this other test where they put some kind of sticker thingyy with a light at the top on my finger and that came out good nothing wrong, then these other tests where they drew a lot of my blood to go run a ton of tests on them ALL of them came back good NOTHING was wrong, and finally the LAST test they did on me was a cat scan for my head, so I did that, and while waiting anotherr hour for the results it was already very late. and ....the results for that was.......NOTHING I was normal for EVERYTHING and just omg. them tellling me that I was clear for all of it and they couldn't find anything wrong with me, well it wasn't 'relieving' actually, because the whole time I just had this gut feeling like I know something wasn't right. So after all the testing was done, the doctor said He'll send me to my real Doctor tomorrow for a followup and she's probably going to send me to a Neurologist where he'll give me even MORE tests more andvanced and everything, but that will be my choice if I want to go or not..and so It's Friday and I'm leaving to my Doctors in a little bit, where I will have to give her the answer yes or no.? It'll be a long drive to the Neurologists if I say yes and the testing could take days, they probably will keep me over night more then once and run a whole other shit load of tests. ...

My best friend is dying and is leaving me her child?

I have been friends with my best friend for almost 20 years now. We met when we were 8. She just has just been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and hasn't been given long to live. I love her dearly!! Her husband was killed in a car crash 3 years ago while she was pregnant, and she doesn't really have any family, so she is leaving her daughter to me and my husband. We love her daughter dearly and will treat her as if she is our own, but are so scared of taking a 3 year old child.
Do we have her call us mom and dad? How do we get her to love us? I know she loves us, but she is also old enough to know we aren't the parents. I am so scared of what is going to happen.
@ S K I want to do this for my friend. I would never let her daughter go to the state. I would never tell her "my dying friend" as you rudely put it, that I didn't want her daughter, because that is not true.
To answer the one comment... Yes, all of this is being done through our attourneys and all the legalities are being taken care of, so thank God we won't have to worry about her having to go to the state.

Question #17:

How much CARBON FOOTPRINT is reduced by riding a bicycle?

I ride my bicycle to, from, and around campus 5 times (days) a week which totals 30 miles per week or 120 miles per month. The math is easy: 2.5 miles there, 2.5 miles back, and 1 mile on campus. So any idea on how much foot print im reducing by not using a cab or personal car? Or even money by not buying a car and using that? Or anything else.
