Question #1:

Question #2:

Chances of financing a Kawasaki 250r Ninja?

I really want to buy this bike. The thing is that I have no credit history (I'm 21); however, I've been working at my job for about a year so far and recently saved up $500. I'm thinking about waiting until I save up a $1000 and then head to the dealer. The bike cost around $4,000.

Another thing is that I still have yet to complete my motorcycle license or what not, but I hear they can still send you the bike to your house.

What are my chances? I have a T.V from Best Buy that I have yet to pay off, I'm not sure if that will effect my chances or what not.

Two years ago, I went to a Honda dealer and they were about to sell me a car, for some reason I was approved, so I'm not sure if I have similar chances.

Do you think I will be approved and what not? Thanks

Question #3:

I want to move in with my aunt because my dad and I hate each other?

So recently I found out I had head lice. I texted a few friends at school and told them I was checking out because of lice. I thought I got it from a friends house and thatrs what i told one if them. My dad picks me up from school and immidiatlystarts to act like it was all my fault that I got lice. Anyway he later that day saw me brushing my hair over the carpet and called me a bunch of vulgar names because he THINKS lice can survive in the carpet and over run the house. The next day the friend that I told that I thought I got them from a friends house tells that friend who tells his parents I said I got them from his house which I didnt say. His parents who run the motorcycle club my dad its in get offended and tells my dad that I was running around telling everyone I got lice from their house when I didnt even mention their names. My dad comes home kicks my door in, grabs me by the hair picks me up slaps me in the face and drops me on the floor. yells at me, tells me he hates me and wants to kick my head in throws a stool at me, hits me in the leg and leaves my room after yelling at me and throwing my fan across the room. I cant take it anymore. I overhear him telling my mom he hates me and wants me to leave. Im 16 and would like to move in with my aunt and uncle who live a few cities away from me but I dont have a job or money and dont know what to do. Im starting to have suicidal thoughts please help. :'(
What I'm really asking is is there a certain legal procedure I need to go through to live with my aunt. I kind of would feel bad about leaving my mom with him because they aren't really married and they fight a lit and idk what would happen to her if they split up and im not there.

MOTORCYCLISTS: need help with some questions...?

So, i'm pretty sure i want to learn to ride motorcycles as soon as i turn 17, and i know all the rules about how to do that and how to get the licence, which is great.
However, I'm curious as to what you guys do with biking clothes (jackets and helmets etc) when you go places, like work, college, the shops etc. where do you put these items?
also, what's the insurance like in your first two years? I know it'd be fairly high, for obvious reasons, but i was hoping you'd throw me some ideas please.
anything else that you'd like to add would be great!

thanks in advance.

Question #7:

What should i do about my father?

My mom passed away 1.5 years ago. And my dad remmarried on Mothers day 6 months l8ter.
We all have our suspicions he was cheating with this women. All my dad has done since mom died, is complain, blame others, call family members and tell them how me and my sister were "whores" and "filthy animals." He made me and my sister look like we were bad people, when we had just lost my mom. Then he gets on his medication and settles down, but his new wife has suddenly started to be hateful towards me and act like she's my mom. scolding me because her clothes arn't dry, when they clearly were. I'm 20 years old but I have to live at my dad's now until I find a job.
What do I do about him? He have no relationship anymore, we don't laugh, or cry, we barely speak. I stay in my room, and he goes on his motorcycle. What should i do about this?

Question #9:

Drag cut transmissions for ATV and motorcycles?

can someone explain to me what is done to the gears on a drag cut transmission to be capable of full throttle upshifts with no clutch use. i have seen listings for trannys such as... "1-4 with 5th and 6th manual". i have mostly seen this type of thing for sand drag yamaha banshees. i'm assuming this is something completely different from back cut trannys, which i think would keep it from shifting under load.

Question #10:

Question #11:

Trying to understand something on my motorcycle (clutches, starting, etc)?

Ok, I got a small 50cc manual transmission motorcycle (Sachs Madass). It's fun and all, but it made me a bit curious as to how it works. I think on most motorcycles you have to hold the clutch in, regardless of what gear it is in, to start it. On mine, it actually won't let you electric or kick start it if you DO hold the clutch in. So that raised some questions for me as to how mine starts.

My bike can be bump started. And if I put it in first and don't hold the clutch, I can kick start it as long as I grab the clutch real quick so it doesn't die. The correct way to start it though, is to put it in neutral (otherwise you can't start it the correct way) and hit the electric starter or the kick start without holding the clutch in.

I don't know a lot about motors, etc. But I am assuming when I bump start it, the transmission output shaft turns when i roll it and then when I pop the clutch the transmission input connects with the motor to turn the motor over... it starts.

I am assuming when I kick start it in first, it essentially works the same way as the above roll starting it.

So when I electric start it in neutral, I'm guessing there are some gears attached just to the crankshaft to turn the motor over (since I'm assuming when the trans is in neutral, there is no attachment between the trans and motor). And when I kick start it in neutral, it probably works in a similar way to the electric start in that it only turns the pistons over, not the trans.

But what I don't understand is why I can not kick start it or electric start it if I'm in 1st and holding the clutch in. Is this a safety mechanism?

What I also don't get, is that when I properly kick start it in neutral (no clutch), I can feel the right amount of resistance in the kick start lever. However, if I put it in first and hold the clutch in, there is no resistance. Shouldn't holding the clutch in while in 1st, and putting the bike in neutral (no clutch) create the same amount of resistance in the kick start lever? I thought when the bike is in neutral, the clutch plate is disengaged from the motor, which I thought would be the same as for when someone holds the clutch in while in 1st gear (they should both disengage the clutch plate from the motor).

For other motorcycles where you HAVE TO hold the clutch in no matter what, is that just because the electric starter and kick start are just connected to the piston crankshaft and no attachment to the motor?

If there is anything that I am saying that is incorrect, please let me know. I would appreciate any information to make this concept more clear to me.
Quick side note, as you all can tell, I really don't have a good grasp on how motors/trans are connected via the clutch. I don't have a good grasp on how motors work in general, so a lot of what I am saying above could be (probably is) wrong. I don't want to sound like I know a lot about motors, because I don't, so any information to help me make sense of this is appreciated. Thanks and take care
Thanks for all the info guys, I appreciate it. To answer some of your questions Michael, I wanted to let you know in all cases when I was starting my bike, the sidestand was up (not down). Also, to answer your question about the kick start lever... When the bike is in 1st gear and I hold the clutch in, and try to kick start it... there is NO resistance (I think that is what you mean by freewheeling) and it won't start. However, when it is in Neutral and the clutch isn't pressed, there is resistance in the kick start lever (I haven't tried this with holding the clutch in). I think this is weird too, that's why I'm asking the questions, lol

Question #12:

Please does anyone know what movie this is from?

This scene has haunted me for a long time. I remember turning on the TV for like 5 minutes when I was younger and seeing a scene from what I'm guessing was a horror film. I have remembered this scene my whole life but I have no clue what it was from. I would do anything to know what it was from. Here's what happened:

This kid is getting bullied by some kids riding bicycles. All of a sudden, this man drives up and he has a motorcycle. For some reason I want to believe he was a cop, but I'm not sure exactly. He gets mad at the bullies and then runs after them. He catches one of them and throws them to the ground. The then puts the chain of his motorcycle above the kids face and gasses it to scare the kid. The chain gets to close to the kids face though, and his head is torn off. The cop guy is pretty much insane I think.

That's all I remember. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS IS FROM!

Question #13:

How does the kick start on a motorcycle or scooter ACTUALLY function?

I know how to kick start a motorcycle and scooter (I have had several), but never really understood how it worked. Is the kick start attached to the piston's crank shaft, or is it attached to the transmission? I'm looking for a step by step answer to how it actually works. I tried looking on the internet for it and it didn't seem like there were many explanations (although I only tried about 3 searches). Thanks a bunch for your info, I appreciate it.

P.S. I'm guessing the kick start lever is attached to the crank shaft of the piston, so when you kick it, it turns the pistons over. If that is right, then is that also the way the electric start works... by the motor of the starter turning the pistons over? (sorry I don't know much about cars/bikes, just how to drive them)
Ok, this is making more sense to me now. But I am a bit confused still about how a kick start would work by being connected to the input shaft on the transmission. Since you "normally" start a bike in neutral or with the clutch in, that would disengage the input shaft from the motor, right? (meaning you shouldn't be able to turn the motor over if it is in neutral or the clutch is in) Or is the input shaft attached to the motor at all times, only being separated from the rest of the trans?

I don't know much about motors as you can tell, lol

In Florida you have to take a safety class for a motorcycle license. Does any one know how many point goes on your license if you get caught riding without a motorcycle license?
quick note: I have a drivers license and yes you can get motorcycle insurance without the motorcycle license!!!!
reply to some of your answers.

For one, if you think a 15 hour safety course is going to teach anyone how to ride a motorcycle, well you have another thing coming. I know a few people who do ride without one and was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this question.
If you do not know the answer to this question, don't respond to it. Simple as that! Don't be a JERK!

Question #18:

Can you roll start all manual motorcycles and cars?

Was just wondering if you can roll start any motorcycle or car with a manual transmission?

I have a Sachs Madass motorcycle that must be in neutral to start it, but was wondering if you can start those by roll starting (which requires it to be in gear).

Can you roll start a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S?
