Do you strap your dog in the car?

On Tuesday, I was driving to the vet to pick up my puppy- he was neutered that day. Three blocks away from the vet clinic, I was stopped at a red light, and my car rear-ended by a truck- this truck was going fast enough that he buckled my trunk, my whole bumper needs to be replaced, and his airbags deployed.

Anyway, I was obviously very upset by this and I spent time in the hospital afterwards. Now, sitting here thinking about it- I'm so lucky that I didn't have puppy in the car with me. Normally, he is lose in the car, and he sits in the passenger seat or lays in the back seat. If he was in the car with me [this is from the Vet] that my puppy would have been seriously injured.

My boyfriend went out and bought a seatbelt harness/strap thing for him.

Do you strap/harness/seatbelt in your dog when he is in the car with you?

This movie was made for tv and maybe had been on the wonderful world of disney but may not have been a disney movie

a man saves a guy from his truck during a car accident and he runs into the back of the truck and gets some kind of chemical all over him

he ends up being able to heal instantly when hurt and either the government or some bad people take him hostage to make him do bad things but he was a father and a good man and would not do the stuff they wanted him to do

at the end of the movie he finds out his son and their pet dog also had the same healing powers because they ran to the father to help him in the truck but his father Sent him away so the government or bad guys and the father had no idea they could heal also

Ok- So I've been with this guy for almost a year, in the beginning I caught him texting other girls saying he loves them blah blah blah pictures and everything. I confronted him about it, he said he was sorry about it and he wouldn't do it again. He said the reason he did it was because he didn't actually think that we were going to work out but we eneded up working out so he began to actually love me. He said I love you first. So a few months go on, I feel good, I have everything that I've ever wanted in a man. Hard worker, tall, dark, and handsome, and he's turned into my best friend. All of a sudden last week I catch him texting someone, thought he was texting our room mate, thats who he said he was talking to, than all of a sudden he gets a phone call and walks to the kitchen than back to living room still looking at the phone than doesn't answer it. I don't say anything about it. And yes, I've been checking his phone, after the first time, I wasn't sure about things eventhough I accepted his apologies, I still had to make sure, any girl would, maybe, I did. I checked his phone yesterday, he never clears any calls or anything, half the time when I text him he has to delete an old text before can open mine. Now all of a sudden everythings deleted and his phones basically empty. Ok, not yesterday, the day before he fell asleep, I went out into the truck to grab a lighter and I could hear his phone vibrating, so I open it, its 2 in the morning "Phil is calling." I look at the number, its the same girls number under a guys name. She called him twice and left two messeges saying "Why aren't you answering?" "Why are you doing this?" I got fed up and sent "Phil" a text saying Tell Jake I said hi. So I get up the next morning, I come down stairs barely awake, Jakes sitting in the chair and says "lets talk about the phone thing." I said "What about it? You've lied, you've been lying, I don't trust you." All he kept saying was I cant believe you went through my phone. Argument. Dissolved, I felt bad all day. Next day comes He doesn't talk to me all day. He usually calls me on his lunch breaks, than I realized he doesn't do it so often anymore, he wont even respond to an I love you text or anything. He came home last night and passed out. I grabbed his phone so prove to myself that I wasn't crazy. Again his phone is cleared except for 2 calls from work. New voicemail though so I check it, its from her, he deleted her call.

He says shes just a friend, a friend that he used to say I love you to. now he's hiding her calls and texts. If she was just a friend I dont think he'd hide the calls and texts. If its harmless than why hide it? I tell him it bothers me and its making me lose trust in him but its like he just doesn't care. What can I say specifically or do? Ideas?

Anyone hear about the horrible fire in San Bruno, California, USA?

Below is link to photos of fire & fire crews doing their best to put it out. I believe they said it was caused by a ruptured gas line. They have confirmed one death, but I'm sure that they haven't been able to account for everyone yet. Unfortunately, due to the fire, the fire crews had to truck water from over 2 miles away. Just awful. My heart goes out to everyone there. (see images on below link):

Just read that the police are patroling that area because they've already caught one looter. How awful some people are! It is disgusting to hear that some people can be so horrible like that. I said a prayer that they find everyone accounted for & no more deaths to report. Such a tragedy that even one life was lost.

my friend was arrested on 9/7/10 @ around 6pm for possession of crystal meth (less than an ounce), a pookie pipe & for prostitution. the prostitution was a sting though. here's what he told me happened: he went to the liquor store & when he got out, some girl came up to him & asked if he wanted a date, he said how much & she said $60 for everything, then he said okay. after that they both got in his car & drove away from the liquor store. while they were driving, he asked her if she was a cop & she said oh f*** no, i hate cops. then they had small chit chat about his truck & they arrived at a hotel. they went together, and bought a room (she paid..i'm guessing with his money). after that she told him she had been eating a lot & had to take a s***. then they went to the room & she went straight to the bathroom & he sat down on a chair & waited for her. when she got out of bathroom, he said he heard a knock on the hotel room door-the girl told him to run to the bathroom. he came out & she wasnt in the room anymore, but the police were with their guns drawn. he said they recorded the whole thing. he went to court today (9/9/10) & pleaded guilty for the narcotics, but innocent for the prostitution (i guess because he never actually did anything with her). he alredy had a 5yr. probation, but only had 1yr. left. they released him today. he said the judge asked him if he wanted him to dismiss the case & leave with drug classes. he has to return to court in two weeks & they said he needed a HIV test. he said they didnt even mention the prostitution at this court date..do you think they will at his next court date? what could his possible sentences be? NO RUDE COMMENTS PLEASE! i'm just looking for answers. thank you.

My truck wont turn over or start. The lights in the care come on.. so I don't think its the battery. What could it be?

I checked the oil. There isn't any water in it that I can see. (I haven't tried to move the crankshaft pulley yet to see if the engine is seized.. )The lights seem kind of dim.. I did have the battery die on my a couple weeks ago. But I jumped it and I have been running on it since then. Could it be the alternator? Im about to try and throw it into N now to see if it will crank. The gear selector on the dash is off one gear so maybe im actually not in park right now.. Let me go try that.

There was no damage to the truck whatsoever and I was driving at about 2-4 mph i think pulling into the lot. I really checked to make sure the truck was ok. I left my house 5 years ago, b/c my mother decided to stay with her husband that molested me as a child. I still keep in contact & see her & my siblings (current ages girl 12 & boy 14). SHe says she loves me & she's taking care of the kids & her husband is hardly home b/c he's a truck driver. That doesn't make things right b/w me & her. & it hurts me that she is still with him. I can't have a relationship with her if she is with that man. It hurts too much. & my husband said thatI just need to leave all of that behind, we need to move out far away & start our own new life. But what about my siblings? He said that they are not my responsibility, they're my moms. But I can't leave them, I love them too much. I was like there second mom. I want to be there support that I know my mom can't offer them. As the older sister I feel great responsibility to them. But my husband said he doesn't know how much more he can take b/w my family & me. He forces me to choose & I don't think that is fair. Am I wrong to not want to leave my siblings?
